This book is exceptional, spirit-lifting and awesome I'm so glad I came across it. There are power points I've received that can be shared with others, stories of miracles and unshakable FAITH and the realization that All prosperity is not financial. May God continue to bless you to be a blessing to others. Exodus "I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I [am] the LORD that healeth thee" When you read the entire context of this verse you will find that the Israelites had come to a place called Marah where the water was so bitter they were unable to drink it.
God sweetened the waters making it drinkable by taking the bitterness out of the water. I believe He was. Bitterness is a disease of the heart. It is an infirmity that affects the core of your soul which in turn can have effects on your physical body as well. Paul warns us in Hebrews … lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby many be defiled.
I believe that there are people who are physically sick as the result of bitterness they have harbored in their heart toward someone or even God Himself. They are angry over a divorce or some time in life where they feel they have been wronged. The longer they hold on to that bitter emotional state…the more sick they become. Friend, bitterness is an enemy that will destroy you from the inside out. It is not worth holding on to anything, no matter how much it has hurt you. Give it to Jesus today and release the bitterness into His healing hands. I believe that not only will you feel emotionally healed…you will see physical healing come your way as well.
He is the Lord Who heals you … let go of bitterness and walk into that healing! Ephesians "And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God" God wants your life to be full. Too many people are living lives that are empty and void of joy, peace and fulfillment. They move day to day through life hoping for more but never getting it. They want more joy but remain in a state of sorrow and depression. They want more abundance but wake up each morning feeling a sense of lack.
Getting full of God is not attained by doing more religious tasks and activities; getting full is simply focusing on how much God loves you as demonstrated through the Lord Jesus Christ. The more you focus on His love for you, the fuller of His presence you will become. When your focus changes — your level of fullness changes along with it.
Today is an incredible day for you, my friend. Today is the day you fully realize how much God loves you. Today is the day you choose to focus only on the immeasurable love of God for you. When you do that, you will find your life becoming full of His presence and joy. Step into fullness today by focusing on His love! Think about that for just a moment. To me — that means I am bound to hope that things will get better. Hope is that expectation that my current circumstance is not my permanent circumstance. God declares that He will restore double to you whatever you have lost.
No matter what the enemy has taken from you — God will give you twice as much as what you have lost. I want you to get up and declare the promise of God that He will restore double to you today. No matter what life may have stolen from you; you are expecting twice as much from God as He restores you. Declare it and believe it. God will do exactly what He said He would do!
You are bound to be hopeful and full of expectation today! John "As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me" We live in a world that is seemingly overwhelmed by stress, fear and anxiety. I am amazed at the level of emotional duress that this generation finds itself in. When I consider the cause of such a rise in emotional stress — I come to one conclusion: we are feeding on the wrong things.
People feed their mind the endless drama on social media; mindless entertainment through television and movies; and idle gossip and chatter from people who have no goals or ambition. The result of feeding off of all of those things is emotional duress and stress. Those are just appetizers on the side plate of life. Jesus told us that by feeding from Him — we will have life. We will have joy and peace that is more than what we could ever imagine. Because He is life, joy and peace! So my question to you is simple: do you find yourself emotionally struggling?
Look at what you are feeding yourself. Begin to feed yourself the Word of God and feed your spirit from the presence of God. The more you feed yourself Jesus — the greater your emotional state of being will be. But we have the mind of Christ" I noticed something as I entered my fifties; I began to forget some details and names of people and things. I have the mind of Christ! He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending. Jesus is He which is, which was, and which is to come. His mind never gets old and becomes forgetful so why should mine?
Who said that we have to succumb to what the world says happens to our mind as we age? We have the mind of Christ and therefore I believe that our mind can and should remain sharp and crisp until the day we die. I began to claim that over my mind and I believe God will give me the power to remain alert and young in my mind even as my body ages. Friend, you can make that same claim.
You have been given the most amazing mind anyone could ever have…the mind of our Lord Jesus Christ. What an honor! You have a sharp mind that is alert and alive…believe it in Jesus name! Psalm "It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: [for] so he giveth his beloved sleep" There are many people who suffer from insomnia. I admit there was a period of time in which I had trouble sleeping and became so frustrated at how tired I was the following day because I had slept only a few hours the night before.
Why is it that we do this? Most of the time it is because something is on our mind that causes sleep to elude us. We are thinking about the report we have to finish for our boss by next week. We are worried about our financial status and how we will pay the bills next month. We think about these things as if we are the one in control of them when the reality is God wants us to give those things over to Him so you can sleep. Lying awake at night thinking about that situation is not going to change it.
Thinking about your finances at 2am is not going to bring more money into your account. That is why the Scripture teaches us that it is vain which literally means worthless for you to stay up at night worried about things God will take care of. He is the God Who never sleeps Psalm so if He is awake then why should you be too?
Hebrews "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. People are too anxious to remind you of who you used to be. They remember how you acted and what you did even decades after you did it. They may not bring it up all the time, but at just the right moment they will remind you of the liar you used to be. They will remind you of the promiscuous past you used to have.
It is like many people use your past as leverage against you just to make sure you better never cross them…because they know something about your past. Unfortunately many people look at God that way. They treat God as if at any moment He will bring up our promiscuous past to us just to keep us in line with Him. That is so not true! Because He put all those sins on His Son Jesus at the cross.
Those sins received their just punishment in the body of the Lord Jesus Christ and they have been taken care of. He only sees the righteousness of His Son in you. This is a beautiful thing to remember as you go through life. You can come to God and never worry about something that happened 20 years ago or even 20 minutes ago standing between you and your Heavenly Father. He has let it go…so maybe you should too! Proverbs "Where [there is] no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy [is] he" We quote that verse often when it comes to the importance of developing a vision for your life and ministry.
Until you know where you are going you will never be able to leave where you are. But what if we would flip that verse around: Without people — the vision will perish. We all need to develop relationships that will strengthen the vision God has given to us. Who you know determines what you know and what you know determines where you go. There is a greater power to produce that comes when you are able to find the right people with whom to partner your efforts because you were created by God for partnership.
So my encouragement to you today is to look around you…who have you partnered with in order to pursue the vision God has placed within you? Are you being intentional about chasing after relationships or are you waiting for the relationship to come to you? Without people — the vision will perish. He leaves it wide open for people to know that He is what you need Him to be at that moment. I am limited in who I am because I am only one person. Do you need Him to be your healer? Do you need Him to be your provider?
What do you need Him to be? The barrier of the Red Sea is in front of them. Pharaoh and the Egyptian army are behind them. The desert mountains are all around them.

So what does Moses do? He does what any of us would do: he believes that God is going to fight the battle for them. But look how God responds to Moses: Wherefore criest thou unto me? In other words, why are you asking me to do something I have given you the power to do? God told Moses to stretch out his hand over the sea and divide it.
He is telling Moses to take the authority God had given to him and exercise it to deliver the Israelites.
Guess what? Too many times, we are asking God to do things that He has given us the spiritual authority to do. Jesus tells us in Mark whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. That is the essence of taking spiritual authority over the things that stand in your way. You know what is hindering you from moving forward in your life.
Guarding the Heart
Instead of complaining about it or begging God to take it out of your way, take authority over it. Lift up your spiritual rod like Moses and see the waters part! Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do [to me], and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time. This woman threatened the life of Elijah and played on the emotion of fear as a means by which to control his actions. The unfortunate thing is: it worked.
So as I look at this Scripture it raises a question for you: Are you altering the decisions you make about important things in life because you are afraid of how another person will emotionally react to you? Are there things you know that you should be doing but are not because you know it will trigger an emotional response out of someone you love? This is what I want you to know: they are holding you emotionally captive from moving forward in life. There is no reason for you to live your life bound up in an emotional prison. You are an individual with a plan and purpose already mapped out by our Heavenly Father.
Today is the day for you to step into that plan and refuse to be held back any longer by that emotionally abusive individual. Matthew "And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. It can be a financial storm where it looks like there will be too much month at the end of the money.
It could be a relational storm where you experience more conflict than communication in your home. I love the dramatic appearance that Jesus makes in the middle of the storm in which the disciples found themselves. He demonstrates to them that He has the power to walk on top of whatever storm is rocking their boat. The same is true for you as well, my friend.
Jesus is not only in the midst of your storm, He is walking over the very waters that are rocking your life right now. His walking on the water shows His authority over the water. Likewise, He has authority over what is attempting to capsize your boat today. You will make it through this because Jesus is in the middle of it! I love how descriptive David was in telling Goliath exactly what he was going to do to him. David was totally unqualified to be standing on that battlefield.
He had no experience as a soldier; was completely undersized compared to Goliath; and if bets were to be taken on the outcome of this battle, David would have been the underdog.
Daniel and Work | Bible Commentary | Theology of Work
But the one thing David had was a vision of what God was able to do through him. There was a confidence that rose within David because he knew that it was not the weaponry or experience that would determine the outcome of this epic struggle. Rather, it was the favor of God that would make the underdog completely destroy the more experienced soldier in this duel. That is why before the battle ever started, David told Goliath exactly what he was going to do to him. David verbalized what he first visualized. If you are going to overcome the giants in your life, you must get a vision of what you are capable of doing through the power of God within you.
You must clearly articulate what you plan to do in life and write that vision down. After it is written, you must then verbalize in specific detail exactly what is going to happen, just like David did. It is that verbalization of the vision that brings the confidence you need to slay that giant and move forward into the destiny God has planned for your life.
Take on the future with a God-given confidence; you will get the victory you visualize and then verbalize! Luke "And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up [herself]. The woman in this text could not lift herself up because of the spirit of infirmity that had bound her for 18 years. Think about that: for 18 years the only thing she could see was the ground. The only direction she could look was down. What a miserable life this was for this poor woman.
All they can do is look down in life. They complain about everything. They cannot engage in healthy conversation with anyone because they look down on themselves and on everything around them. Maybe this is you. Friend, you are bound. Allow His touch to cause you to stand tall again and see things you have never seen. Today is a new day for you! Be blessed today and look up! This is a powerful statement when you understand that in Biblical days there was no door to the sheepfold.
There was just an opening and when all the sheep had entered into the fold, the shepherd would literally sleep at that opening throughout the night. In essence…the shepherd had become the door of the sheepfold. So when you think about it, to get to the sheep, you have to first go through the shepherd. Consequently — the enemy cannot get to me without first going through Jesus! That is such a reassurance to know that our Shepherd will not let any attack of the enemy come at us that we cannot handle by His grace.
We are not only provided for by our Shepherd but we are protected by our Shepherd. So be strong today. Psalm "Blessed [is] the nation whose God [is] the LORD; [and] the people [whom] he hath chosen for his own inheritance. The freedom and liberty that we enjoy today comes as a result of the dream of freedom that our founding fathers had when they formed this union years ago. A dream that took them on a journey across the sea to an adventure that was unknown — uncharted — and held no promises.
Yet that dream gave birth to the greatest land in the entire world. Today, take some time to thank God for the dream of freedom our forefathers had in establishing this nation. Happy Independence Day! To say that makes God a liar because His Word has adamantly told us that every man has a measure of faith. What is true in the natural is also true in the supernatural. Whereas if you exercise those muscles, then they become useful and you can lift things and you feel much stronger and healthier.
Faith is like those muscles. If you never exercise your faith by reading and declaring the Word of God over your life, your faith will become weak and dormant. You still have faith but it is useless because of its weakness. Whereas if you exercise that faith by speaking the Word over your situations in life, that faith will become stronger and you will be able to do things you have never done before in the realm of the Spirit. It all comes down to you exercising that faith!
It is simply a matter of exercising what you have and seeing that faith come alive! Luke "But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put [it] on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on [his] feet" All of us make stupid mistakes. With those mistakes we lose some things that we spend our life regretting what we lost. I have done that many times, but I have also come to realize it is a waste of time fretting over the things I have lost through stupid mistakes.
The son in this parable of the prodigal lost everything by his riotous living…his inheritance was completely gone. He simply told his servants to dress him up with the finest of robes, jewelry and footwear so this son knew that he had been completely restored to the family. You see, God is not concerned about what you have lost through the dumb mistakes you have made. He will simply restore you back to what you deserve as His child when you come running back into His arms.
He is not reminding you of the time and talent you squandered through the foolish decisions you have made. He is ready to dress you in the robe of His righteousness; put the ring of spiritual authority back on your finger; and establish your path with His divine guidance again. If you have made bad decisions recently that may have lost some things in your life…just let it go today. His grace has restored you to His righteousness and authority. What God is giving back to you far outweighs what you may have lost. Rejoice in it today! Matthew "Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them.
Are ye not much better than they? Now of course this does not take away from the spiritual law of sowing and reaping in our lives. But I believe the point that Jesus was making is that when we trust God for the resources and provision we need in life, it will come based on His love and not our performance.
The world teaches us that we must toil and labor to be provided for in life. We are taught by the world that life is hard and full of blood, sweat and tears. The only ones who make it to the top are those who sacrifice their families and personal lives for the sake of success. Because in the spiritual sense we are already at the top! So when you trust God, you can rest assured you will not only be provided for but you will succeed! Not because of your performance but because of His provision. I personally know people who were promoted on the job above people more qualified; all because they were a Child of God!
Mark "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" The key to receiving the things you pray for is to believe that you already have them as you pray for them. Jesus was very clear in teaching us that if we believe — we will possess that which we believe.
Too many times we pray but in the back of our mind wonder if we really will receive what we are praying for. It is that shade of doubt that prevents us from manifesting what we are praying about. But when we pray with belief, we will act and speak as if we already possess that which we have prayed for. If you are praying for healing in your body, then declare daily and live as if your body is healed.
Even if symptoms try to come back, you can declare that you are in Christ and in Him is health and strength. If you are praying for a new job, then act as if you are already in that job you are praying for. When your level of belief changes how you think and speak, you will see that answer come to you. So live as if you are blessed; talk as if you are blessed; think as if you are blessed.
Because you already are blessed in Christ! Thank God for that blessing! Believe when you pray today that you already possess what you are praying about…it will change your life forever! I have heard people gripe and complain about the environment of where they live thinking that if they just lived somewhere else they would be more blessed. But the Bible declares otherwise. Even if you work in an adversarial environment on your job…you can still be blessed.
So stop wishing that you lived somewhere else and understand that you are under the blessing of God right where you are. I remember when I was young all the scathing messages I sat under that chastised the congregation about being lukewarm in our love for God and how that lack of love was leading us to compromise. I remember feeling guilty for somehow not doing enough to show God how much I loved Him. I became confused about what God was requiring of me and it led me through some spiritually troublesome times.
Then I read this verse again…love is not defined by how much we love God but rather by how much God loves us! It can become discouraging when our focus is only on what we do for God rather than what God has done for us. It is when we focus on the incredible love our Heavenly Father has shown us in sending Jesus to be our propitiation that we are inspired and motivated to do more for Him.
Today I challenge you to take the focus off of what you are doing for God and invest the time thinking about how much He has done for you. The picture of love is not our great religious works but rather the Son of God doing the work for us at Calvary. Bask in His love today! John "Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. For whatever reason we get overwhelmed by our current circumstance and think that it is too much for God to handle at the moment. Sure, we believe He has done miracles in the past and will do them in the future.
My friend, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. If He has done it in the past for someone else then He will do it in the present for you! There is no reason to believe that your current situation is too much for Him to handle. He will provide for you right where you are, so it is time to believe for your miracle right now! They speak the Word as though it is reality in their lives and consequently gain what God has promised to them. It is through those words of faithlessness and discouragement that the enemy comes and steals even that which they do have.

I guess the only question that remains is which one of those do you choose to be? Do you choose to get up each day and verbalize the blessing and abundance God has promised to you? You choose whether you will receive more or lose what you already have…I pray you choose wisely! Psalm "A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, [is] God in his holy habitation" Being the father of four children, I know the intrinsic desire of each child to receive the approval of their father.
Peggy Drexler wrote about this longing in a Psychology Today study of 75 high-achieving women. Even for women whose fathers had been neglectful or abusive, I found a hunger for approval. If that is true for you…the good news is that you have a perfect Heavenly Father who longs to be in relationship with you. He is ready to shower you with His blessing and be everything and more than you would ever want from your earthly father. Galatians "But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. God has given each of us the tools we need to succeed in fulfilling His specific plan for our lives.
So those who take those tools and passionately follow that plan are the ones who experience the greatest success. But the ones who ignore those tools and simply sit back and expect success to come to them are the ones who end up blaming others for their lack of achievement. I am not responsible for what you do and neither are you responsible for what I do.
So take a look at your life today. Are you still dreaming about goals but never doing anything about it? Today is the day you realize God has already given you what you need to succeed…the only thing lacking is taking responsibility for what you have and doing something with it! What an honor to be called by His name.
According to this promise of Deuteronomy, when we are called by His name the people around us will respect us because of that name. I believe that means the favor of God will be evident to them just by being in relationship with us. What an honor to know that His name is what brings His blessing. I encourage you to go to work proud and strong today as you bear His name. Expect your boss to see the favor of God on your work today. When you truly understand who you are in Christ…the people around you will see His favor all over you.
James "A double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways. You veer off to the side of the road; it is a struggle to keep the wheel straight and your car moving in the direction you intend to drive. Everything in life becomes a struggle because we are literally fighting ourselves! Take a moment today to look hard at your life and assess where you are. Is there a division between what you say and what you do?
You can only live that way so long before your life will divert from the successful path God wants you to travel. Get in alignment today in all areas of your life. Align your mouth, your mind and your mannerisms. When you are in complete alignment…your life is complete and full of joy! James "Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing.
My brethren, these things ought not so to be. It is a spiritual law that whatever is on the inside of you will eventually be revealed. Besides…talking one way about a person and treating them differently will make you miserable as well. So your challenge today is simple: talk about people the same way you would treat them. Just love people where they are…even if you disagree with them. Because what you say behind their back will eventually manifest in front of their face! Galatians "But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
I am not talking about doing everything perfectly and without error for the rest of your life. In Biblical terminology the word perfection means completeness. In other words, there is nothing more that can be added to make me complete in who I am. When Paul writes in this verse that he is crucified and dead to the world…that means there is nothing that the world can do to validate me or make me who I am.
I am not depending on the world to define who I am and who I am not. I am not depending on the world to make me feel better about myself. I am perfect and complete through the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is awesome news for us! There are so many people who are looking to other people to validate them and make them feel good about themselves. They are trying to fit into the world so they can be accepted and made to feel as though they are part of something.
When you come to the cross…you have everything you need in Christ. In fact the more of Jesus you get — the less of the world you will need. So stop looking for validation through a new relationship or wardrobe. Stop looking to the world to in some way make you feel better about yourself. You are complete in Christ and in what He has done for you. You need to relish in your completeness in HIM! Proverbs "In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips [tendeth] only to penury.
Too many people talk about all the great things they want to achieve in life, but they never create a plan to achieve it. They talk about how they want to make a great impact on the world, but then they sit at home every night vegging out on Netflix. The wise man had it right in Proverbs when he instructed us that the only way to profit from something is to labor or work at it. Whereas just talking about it leads to lack and poverty.
Is it a goal that you know you want to achieve but have never taken any action on achieving that goal? Take the first step today. Decide one small thing you can do to get the ball rolling on what you want to achieve in life and put it on your list to achieve today.
Your life will be so much more fulfilling when you stop talking and start working! And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread. Ahab is the King of Israel and could have absolutely anything he wanted; but when Naboth refused to give up his vineyard he threw a pity party for himself.
So full of himself was the king that he was only made happy again when his wife, the evil Jezebel, set in motion a plan to have Naboth murdered. Self-pity is an emotional toxin that will literally take over your sense of reasoning and rationality. Ahab would literally take the life of another man simply to get what he wanted. I believe self-pity is the absolute worst of spiritual and emotional addictions. People get addicted to this feeling of pity for themselves and the pity that others show them.
It literally separates them from reality which is why they fall into this trap so often. Self-pity will paralyze you from moving forward from the event about which you feel sorry for yourself. Here is what we need to understand: You cannot control what has happened to you in life…but you can always choose whether or not what happens to you will control you.
Is that where you are living right now? Are you allowing what has happened to you to control your mind — control your emotions — control whether or not you move forward in life? It is time to let it go and give it to Jesus. The pity party is over because the Savior has come to heal you from the pain of rejection and disappointment. Trust Him today and you will never fall into the pit of self-pity ever again! They are new every morning: great [is] thy faithfulness. His mercy is the same every day but our ability to focus on those mercies is reborn each morning when we awake. We have the opportunity to literally set our minds freshly on the powerful mercy of God each morning and remove the toxic thoughts of fear and negativity.
What a powerful decision that is! So what are you going to do with those new baby nerve cells that were born last night? He said no, and began to laugh and smile. So I pulled out my phone and took him through some scriptures about our need for Jesus, and that God gave him as a solution for us. I asked him would he like to be saved today? He said yes. I then prayed a prayer of salvation with him. Thank you! You may not realize it, but more than you know there are people that the Lord has already been dealing with.
They are ready to change. The harvest is ready, and He simply brings you across their path to bring them to Him. Prayer: Thank You Father! You are good! You desire to bring people to receive Jesus, and there are people that are ready. Give me a hearing ear Holy Spirit when You want to use me and help me share Jesus with them. Give me courage and boldness, and most of all, Your great love for people. Any man can serve the Lord when everything is going well. The children of Israel gladly praised the Lord after they crossed over the Red Sea.
They gave Him glory with no hesitation after they saw how He delivered them from the Egyptian army. The challenge came when they walked through the wilderness, and God allowed them to, to humble them and prove their heart to see if they would still serve Him. Are you like the Israelites who lost faith the moment things became difficult, or are you like His servant Job who after losing much, still bowed down and worshiped the Lord? Although you are being proven, still serve Him. Although you are learning humility and patience, still serve Him.
There is always a promise land after the wilderness. After obedience, there is always a blessing. I worship You not outcomes. I choose to trust You no matter what. Strengthen my heart. Strengthen my praise. Strengthen my faith and my joy in believing. Fill me God as I humble myself in worship to You. Let nothing steal my praise and my worship.
The Pharisees at the time loved to pray openly so man could see them and say how great they were. They sought the reward that comes from man, but not from God. Go to your heavenly Father in secret, close your door and be only focused on opening your heart to Him your life. When you shut your door, it signifies a time between only you and God. Bow, cry or just sit a while and commune with the Father. God will answer and make His goodness known to you and reward you openly. To help strengthen your prayer life, it may be wise to physically put this in practice. Go daily to your closet, shut the door and begin to pray.
When you shut that door, you are symbolically shutting off every distraction. The more you get away, the less distractions there will be. The less distracted you are, the more powerful your prayer life becomes. Prayer: Father, thank You for the riches found in my prayer closet. Help me to stay focused on building my prayer life. Meet me right where I am and help me. Speak to me. Let me experience Your presence right where I am. I will pray in secret and watch You openly reward me. And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.
The veil in the temple covered the holiest place where the ark of the covenant and God dwelt. He had to be a holy man, living upright before the Lord.
The veil was thick and dark, representing the barrier of sin that separated us from the Father. No one was able to go beyond the veil and have access the Father except him. There is no more barrier of sin between you and the Father. The veil was forever torn and you are redeemed through Christ Jesus. Tear any veil of guilt or unworthiness in your on life from top to bottom. You are right before God, free to walk with God, reach out to God, be empowered by Him, receive mercy, live in Him, call Him Father, with no condemnation.
Prayer: Thank You Father. Thank You for giving Jesus for all my sin and the veil is torn. Help me to tear any veils in my own life from top to bottom. I am righteous and I have access to the Father because of it. I will live free in the Lord today. It keeps ships from drifting or being pulled away.
Therefore, the ship owner rests and puts their hope in their anchor to keep their ship, even in the midst of the biggest storm. When the storms of life come. When you find they begin to rage the most, Jesus is your sure and steadfast hope. He is as sure and steadfast than even before the storm came. He is the Anchor of your soul. There is a sure consolation, a sure hope that is right there to hold you down, even at the bottom, your rock bottom.
At your highest. At your lowest. There is a hope that you now always have in Him and eternally.
Nothing can move your Anchor. Nothing can move your victory! Prayer: Father, at the top or even deep at the bottom, Jesus is the Anchor of my soul! I have a sure hope in You and the Father is faithful to keep His Word. Help me to stand on Your Word and keep my eyes on You. You are my joy and peace that I yield to right now. I will see victory! Can I ask you a question. If God Himself was going through what you are experiencing, do you believe that He could get through it?
You may say yes He would. He would definitely make it. The One you believe would make it, is the same One that set you up free and is on your side. You can make it too. He helps us handle it like He would. The same grace that He has, He has given you and it is very sufficient. It is more than enough for not only strength, but for joy, comfort and triumph. You can make it through—and you will.
Prayer: Father, I really needed this. Sometimes, things get hard for this man, but I will get through it with You. If You can make it, I can too. I say in faith to You—You freed me and You are on my side. Your joy is my strength. Thank You for Your grace and I receive it right at this very point in my life. I will overcome. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority…was returning.
And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet. There was something God was leading me to do and step-by-step the Holy Spirit was saying to go here, go there and do this. While planning to stop at the gas station to get our kids a treat, we saw a Family Dollar and stopped there. As we were about to leave, a woman comes up to me saying she had to obey and begins to prophesy over my life. It truly blessed me. Throughout the course of your day and your life, know that God is desiring to get things into your hands. Like a key that opens the door, obeying the leading of the Holy Spirit positions us to receive.
Through obedience, you will run right into it. Prayer: Father, You are good and there is none like You! I desire to be guided by You Holy Spirit. As I acknowledge You, direct my path. Help me Father to obey You. Not only to receive a blessing, but also when You tell me to be one. I will be glad I did. For a man, financial prosperity is good, but prosperity of the heart is far better.
You speak the truth and love the Father. We sincerely care about people, and have big hearts towards the lost. We pray for others like we pray for ourselves. We view sin like God, we have a genuine pursuit to please Him and have a clean heart. This is what David did when he sincerely prayed this very psalm.
His repenting alone caused him to walk in the best prosperity—and if you need to, so will you. Above all you seek after, prosper in your heart today. Prayer: Father, thank You this morning for Your word. Above money and things, prosper my heart. Increase, grow and enlarge my heart for You and for others. Help me to hold tight to what is good, and give me a heart that loves You with everything I have. This is my best prosperity. The One who girded us up when we had no answer for our sin. The One who took all of our sickness and disease on His shoulders.
I know that to be the case in my own life. He will do the same for you. He said He would never leave us nor forsake us. We must come to Him. We must believe on Jesus and come to Him. Prayer: Lord, carry me through this. I am at a breaking point and I need you Lord to pick me up. Be my Shepherd. Heal me. Comfort me. Encourage me. Carry me. Father, we pray today for those who are in need of healing in their bodies and healing in their minds. We ask in faith according to Your word that by Jesus stripes we are healed. We ask in faith according to Psalm that You daily load us with benefits and You heal all our diseases.
We come against that struggle with depression and all mental illness. We declare right now that they have a sound and prosperous mind. They have the mind of Christ! We touch and agree for healing to manifest against cancer, tumors, sickle-cell anemia, headaches, chest pains, traumas, cataracts, lumps, back pain, and high blood pressure. We ask for Your mighty power to begin to show up in their lives.
We ask that their bodies respond to Your anointing and that the hearer responds to You with faith. We touch and agree for pain to dissipate now! Depression leaves now! You are our Healer. The basics in our Christian walk never change. Your challenges, circumstances and situations may change. The intensity, the pressure of them may change. However, how we fight them is no differently. We fight with spiritual weapons that are mighty through God, full of divine power from Him.
We fight through prayer and His word. We fight with our faith and our praise. If you are experiencing a trying situation, pressure or trouble, go back to the basics. They work every time. Prayer: Father, You are faithful. You are awesome! Your word lights my path. There is power in my prayers, and there is power in my praise. Make it like an instinct in me to not fight according to the flesh, but with my spiritual weaponry. Help me to apply them in my Christian walk and I will win every time! So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was.
Jesus was on his way to raise Lazarus from the dead, but he decided to spend two more days where He was, and it appeared to be a delay in his coming. However, they witnessed the power of Jesus, who in four days still raised Lazarus from the dead. They had an even greater testimony of what Jesus could do.
What seemed as a delay, turned out to be their miracle. In my own life, we had been looking for a house. We found one and put in our bid. It was accepted, and everything with our buying experience was going smooth and according to plan. However, the lender we were working with came back and told us they needed us to do more things regarding my credit. Yet, we agreed God must have something better, and what God has for us, is for us.
We took a little more to work on my credit, and we found that the very same house was still on the market. This time, we were able to get a lower interest rate and all the closing costs paid. Glory to God!! What God has for you, know that it is for you. You may want to go ahead and obtain it, but always receive godly counsel, even if it appears it will delay what you really desire. Your blessing could be your delay in disguise, and your delay could be your miracle! Help me not to be in a hurry. I want what Your best. What You have for me, is for me. Lead me Holy Spirit and may I receive all the godly counsel You send me.
Help me to respond right to any delays, because it may very well be my blessing in disguise. My delay could be Your protection and my miracle. Hold fast to what I have spoken over you. Hold fast to My promise. If you hold on for a little while longer, I will make a way out of no way for you and your family. If you will obey Me and follow My ways, I will help you reach your place of promise. I will supply all your need according to My riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Very late in the middle of the night, I heard our son cough. Yet when I heard our son, it did something to me. When I heard him coughing, I could care less about my tiredness, my feelings and comfort. My son was in need. Sure enough, I went into his room and he had no blanket over him. I move him on his pillow, and put the blanket real snug over him. He then woke up a little, smiled, and went back to sleep.
You have a Father that watches over you and hears your prayers. He has heard you, even in a night moment in your life. His eyes are constantly on you and as soon as you gave voice to your situation, as soon as said you really need Him to come through, as soon as He heard you, He began to move. His answer, His victory, His blessing, a helping hand is coming. God does some of His greatest works during the night. Prayer: Father, thank You that as soon as I prayed, You heard me.
You really do care about what I am going through. Strengthen me Father and full me with great joy and peace. I believe You are moving on my behalf. You do some of Your greatest works in the night. I receive any direction You give me right now. I praise You in advance. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing.
There is one thing about God that you must know. He will never allow His children to go through the fire, through the test, and the valley and not experience His grace and goodness in an abundant, outweighing measure in their lives. When God turned the captivity of Zion, they were like them that dream! God is blessing me in such a way that I feel like I am dreaming!
Your situation is only temporary. God has a greater plan, and it involves you being blessed in a great way. Prayer: Father, there is none like You! Thank You for helping me to go through the valley experiences in my life. Thank You for being with me when my faith is tested and tried. I declare I will be as those that dream how You turn things around for me! It is when we pray to God in faith and pursue to have faith, yet something in your past keeps affecting how you view what your life will be ahead of you. Free of complex situations, lack and issues. So make it final.
No more tossing to and fro between two opinions. No more tossing to and fro because of circumstances. You are going to finally believe God. Prayer: Father, I thank You for helping me. This man makes it final today. I put a period behind it today. When I pray, I will ask in faith and finally believe what You say. When the enemy comes—and he will—to plant a seed of doubt in your heart, you have a choice to not receive it. Let only God be the One that you receive from through His word. Let Him be the only One you receive from when He speaks to your heart and says have hope.
With diligence keep your heart, taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ and stand in who you are in him—stand until your blessing comes. Prayer: Father, I praise You. I will not receive what the devil says about my life and who I am. I take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Help me to think according to what You say about me.
You say have hope and I receive it. You are telling me I win and I receive it. Study: Proverbs , Philippians Job reminisced about the past. He went there. He went back to how life was before his challenges and losses came. He went back, for a moment, to how everything was flourishing, how he had it all, and there was no lack. He wanted those times back. Leave the past where it is. Yes, it felt perfect. Yes, you had it all. You have to let it go. God is a good God and He restores in mighty ways for those that put their trust in Him.
Let your place be to do what He says, keep following Jesus forward, excited to know that your latter be greater. Prayer: Father, thank You for being my Restorer. I have had some challenges and setbacks in my life, but You will restore me. You will make it even far better than what I had. Today, I let go of always reminiscing about the past and move forward, trusting in You!
You are a good God and great in my eyes. My latter will be greater! The writer made it personal in regards to how he referred to God. It is similar to ownership, such as my wife or my child. He is my God. In your challenge, in whatever mountain is before you, in whatever success you are in pursuit of, make God personal to you.
Bring Him close to where you are. Make your relationship with Him even more relevant and powerful at this moment, making a difference in your fight of faith and in your confidence. Acknowledge Him not only as God, but He is your God. Your God, your Heavenly Father, will supply all of your need!
Your God will help. Your God will deliver. Your God will heal. Your God will speak to you when you ask Him what to do. The same God is Your God, and He will provide for you also. Prayer: Father, You are my God. You are my Provider. I am Your son and I have access to You at any time. I believe You are able! I praise You in advance for meeting all my needs. You are my God. I was on my way home from work yesterday, and I was still singing a song I had been singing since my lunch.
I was spending time with the Lord and I had this perfect peace. I had a joy that I wanted to tell everyone about. I wanted to put it in a bottle and give away what I had been experiencing. It truly felt like heaven. Do you know what having Jesus is like? Christ in you is your perfection and has made you whole and free. He is your unspeakable joy. He is your heaven and the Lord says when you dwell in Him, there are no worries.
When you dwell in him, nothing can shake you. You were meant to be unstoppable. You are an eagle, soaring too fast and too high to be denied your calling. The enemy and his devices cannot dwell where you are. You overcome evil with good. You are too positive to be negative. You are too humble to give room to pride.
You forgive too quickly to be offended. You repent too quickly to be ashamed and condemned. You have too much favor to be refused. You have too much joy to lack strength. You have too much God to be stopped. You trust He will move for you, as you move for Him. When you wait on the Lord, you are setting your hope and expectation in Him and in His Word. Think on His Word and wait on Him. Pour out your heart to Him and wait on Him. Go to Him with your struggles as a man and wait on Him. Stay where you are, and wait on Him to direct your path. Prayer: Father, thank You for making me unstoppable!
I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me! I will wait on You. I will expect of You because You will come through. You will help me. You will bless me. I had been working at this new company for 8 months, just working in the department that I had been hired to work in. I was fine with working there, but God told me that it was my time to leave and that He had some other people He wanted me to reach there, and He wanted to bless me. One job I applied for, I had an interview and I never heard anything back from the hiring manager.
I had to fight to not be discouraged. I then found two positions that I had interest in, but the Holy Spirit said no, just apply for that one. So I did. She then talks with my manager, who calls me over to meet her. God graced me to speak very well without effort, causing her to be very impressed with me. I recognized I had favor with her also. I had a three-panel interview, and I then received a call with a job offer. I can testify that He is good and will provide direction.
Whether financially or another area in your life, if He could lead me and do it for me, know my brother He will do it for you. Prayer: I give You praise Father for how You bless us! Help me to hear Your Holy Spirit to only follow Your direction and Your leading right into my blessing.
I thank You for it now! You have an unction from the Holy Spirit and it is like an instinct. Whether great or small, the Holy Spirit has anointed us and provides direction for us at all times. There are things He will say not to do or go, and then you find the Holy Spirit was right. This is a powerful difference when you walk with God and this is what the Lord desires you to enter deeper into this year. As you begin inquiring of God what this new year holds, there are already things by His Spirit you know God is speaking about for this season in your life. Prayer: Father, thank You for the unction to know all things.
Help me to walk in a more deeper way, being led by the Holy Spirit in this season of my life.
